Dancing Classrooms Philly at Greenfield and Arthur Elementary Schools

Fifth graders at the Albert M. Greenfield School and the Chester A. Arthur School both participated in a Dancing Classrooms Philly ballroom dance program thanks to a $5,000 donation from Republic Bank and the Center City District Foundation Educational Improvement Organization.

Republic Bank, a participant in the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, chose to donate their EITC funds to the Center City District Foundation Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) and the money was used to support Dancing Classrooms Philly at the two schools. In addition to teaching ballroom dance, Dancing Classrooms Philly works with the students to build a base for behavioral and social skills that carry over into all aspects of their lives.
