Phila. Electrical and Technology Charter School

The Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter High School was established in 2002. The main purpose of the school is to develop students who will be employable in the emerging high-tech industries, while giving students a strong foundation in the core academic subjects of math, science, language arts, social studies and world languages. PE&T prepares students to enter high tech and electrical fields in a variety of ways, either through pursuit of apprenticeships at IBEW Local 98, attendance at two or four year colleges, direct employment in those industries following graduation, or some combination of those paths.
